Cremation Options

After the cremation, there are a variety of choices for your loved one's final disposition. Your decision will depend on your religious beliefs and personal preferences, but here are some options to consider: 

• Interment means that you'll bury or entomb your loved one's cremated remains. This can be in a family plot, a memorial site, a cremation niche or urn garden, or in a variety of other indoor and outdoor locations. Ask our staff for a detailed list of local interment possibilities.
• Graveside services are similar to those celebrated alongside a traditional ground burial, in which loved ones are present at the burial of the cremated remains and honor the deceased through memorial prayers or other meaningful tributes.
• Scattering allows you to spread your loved one's cremated remains in a memorial garden, a cemetery, over water, or across any other meaningful site. You also can choose to scatter some of the cremated remains and retain the rest in an urn for interment or another form of disposition.
• Placing cremated remains in multiple urns allows family members who are separated by distance to each feel the comfort of having their loved one's final resting place in a nearby location.

The Buch Family of Funeral Homes offers many service options, including our Cremation Service packages, which are described below. Our Cremation Service packages are a discounted option we offer to families we serve.

The final package may or may not include the casket or container required for visitation or viewing, burial, entombment or cremation. We can provide families with extensive selection options when selecting any of these items. To receive the benefit of this offering, the casket and outer burial containers must be purchased directly from one of our Buch Funeral Homes.

You are in no way limited to these service options. You may itemize services in order to select only those which are right for you.

Cremation Package One

Full Traditional Service with Cremation

This package includes basic services of the funeral director and staff; embalming; basic preparation of deceased; refrigeration - for cremation services, first 48 hours are included in our fees; two hour viewing or visitation (at the Funeral Home, church or another location); funeral ceremony (at the Funeral Home, church or another location); graveside service; casket coach/hearse; lead car; initial call and transfer of remains to funeral home from local place of death; acknowledgement cards; registration book; memory folders/prayer cards (up to 150) & personalized; and temporary grave marker.

This package includes basic services of the funeral director and staff; basic preparation of deceased; 1 hour visitation & private indentification (at the Funeral Home, church or another location); memorial ceremony (at the Funeral Home, church or another location); graveside service; casket coach/hearse; initial call and transfer of remains to funeral home from local place of death; acknowledgement cards; registration book; and memory folders/prayer cards (up to 150) & personalized.

Cremation Package Three

Cremation with Graveside Service & Private Indentification

This package includes basic services of the funeral director and staff; basic preparation of deceased; private indentification (at the Funeral Home); graveside service; casket coach/hearse; initial call and transfer of remains to funeral home from local place of death; and memory folders/prayer cards (up to 150) & personalized.
