William V. “Bill” Plogman, 89, of Maryland passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Pleasant View Retirement Community, Manheim. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Frank and Marion McDonald Plogman. He was the loving husband of Ann Wimmer Plogman and they would have celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary in October of this year. Bill retired as a salesman for USG Corp. He proudly served in the United States Navy during WW II.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, William V. Plogman Jr. of Great Cacapon, West Virginia, two daughters, Barbara Plogman of Reisterstown, Maryland, Lisa P. Lewis wife of Kenneth Lewis of Manheim and two grandchildren, Meghan and Michael Lewis. He was preceded in death by a brother, Francis Plogman and a sister, Genevieve Kuchta.
Funeral Services will be private. Interment in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Maryland.
