William L. Tenaglia, 82, of Lititz, and formerly of Greene Countrie Drive, West Chester, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Born in Girardville, he was the son of the late Luco and Concetta Mancini Tenaglia. Bill was the loving husband of Aida C. Nanni Tenaglia and they observed their 61st wedding anniversary this month. For 25 years he was the owner and operator of William L. Tenaglia Cleaning Service in West Chester; previously he served as Vice President of the former Pilgrim Life Insurance Company, in Folcroft. Bill was a member of Mount Joy North Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Bill’s entire life was devoted to his family and his ministry.
Surviving in addition to his wife Aida, are three daughters: Desiree wife of Brian Sunday of Lititz, Lisa wife of Thomas Michiels of Sarasota, FL., Aida wife of Antonio Giorgio of Lititz, ten grandchildren: Christopher, Anita, Christina, Jackelyn wife of Teague, Kaitlyn, Michael, Isabella, Antonio Jr., Tara, Dante, and a brother, Anthony husband of Ann Tenaglia of Broomall. Preceding him in death are two brothers: James and Johnny Tenaglia and a sister Edith Tenaglia.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Bill’s memorial service at Brick Gables, 800 East Newport Road, Lititz, on Monday, June 1, 2015 at 6:00 PM. Friends may visit with the family at Brick Gables on Monday evening from 5:00 PM until the time of the service.
