William L. “Bill” Dull, 90, of Lititz, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Gardens of Stevens. Born in Elizabeth Township, he was the son of the late William E. and Minerva Tish Dull; and the step son of the late Jean Tomb Dull. Bill was the loving husband of Lucille Light Dull and they observed their 71st wedding anniversary in September of last year. Bill was the owner and operator of Dull’s Used Parts and Recycling Company, Lititz. He loved racing; watching thoroughbred horses, and NASCAR, and rooting for his favorite driver Dale Earnhardt Sr.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Lucille are two daughters: Wilma L. wife of Lamar “Sonnie” Eberly of Lititz, Debbie L. Schmuck of Lancaster, a son, Larry L. husband of Diane Dull of Lititz, four grandchildren: Chad Eberly, Justin Dull, Leanne Habecker, Heather Gregory, ten great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and a daughter-in-law, Debra Dull of Ephrata. Bill was one of nine children. Preceding him in death is a son, Chester L. Dull, and two grandchildren: Jason Dull and Casey Schmuck.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Gardens of Stevens and Compassus Hospice of Lancaster, for the compassionate care provided to Bill during his illness.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Brunnerville United Methodist Cemetery.
