William E. "Bill" Arndt

William E. “Bill” Arndt, 82, of Manheim, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, December 18, 2015 at the Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Florin, he was the son of the late William S. and Ruth Stauffer Arndt. Bill was the loving husband of Martha Ratcliffe Arndt and they observed their 55th wedding anniversary in March of this year. For over 30 years Bill worked as a supervisor for AMP, Inc. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Bill had a life-long passion for his family and enjoyed participating in activities with his children and grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Martha, are four sons: Timothy husband of Deborah Arndt of San Antonio, TX., Bradley husband of Amy Arndt of Manheim, David husband of Debbie Arndt of Lititz, Chad Arndt of Manheim, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a brother, Rodney husband of Donna Arndt of Mount Joy, and a sister, Ruth Ann Arndt of Mount Joy. Preceding him in death is a sister, Nancy Testerman.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, with military honors. Please omit flowers. Contributions may be sent in Bill’s memory to the PA Wounded Warriors Inc. 1117 Country Club Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
