Wesley “Tom” Sartain Jr. 52, of Manheim, passed on Friday, April 29, 2016. Tom was born in San Diego, CA; son of Wesley Thomas Sartain Sr. husband of Myrna Sartain of Livermore, CA. and Nina Harmon Dougherty of Manheim. Tom is survived by wife Debora Sartain of Enola. He worked at Pretium Packaging in Manchester. In his early years Tom held the honorary position of governor for the Loyal Order of the Moose in Rio Linda, CA. Tom loved his books and was an avid reader. He is notorious for his Karaoke crooning of legendary hits such as "Taking Care of Business", "Okie From Muskogee", "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World", "Behind Closed Doors", "Make the World Go Away" and many more.
Surviving in addition to his wife and parents, are two sons: Douglas Thomas Sartain, Wesley Wade Sartain, his sister, Sherry, brother-in -law Scott Rice and two nephews Jeff and Scotty of Manheim, his brother, Ed, sister-in -law Lura Sartain and two nieces Susan and Jessika.
There will be a celebration of Tom's life for friends and family at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Wednesday evening, May 4, 2016 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Service will begin at 7:30 PM. All are encouraged to express a personal tribute of their special memories of Tom.
