Wayne A. Rutter

Wayne A. Rutter, 59, of Manheim, died peacefully on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Paul R. and Evelyn Rutter Boyer. Wayne was a heavy equipment operator working for a number of construction companies in Lancaster County. Wayne was a social member at the Manheim VFW and also a member of the Germania Band Club, Manheim. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed hunting, camping, and riding motorcycles. Wayne had a life-long passion for the shore and visiting light houses.

Surviving is a brother Terry Boyer of Lititz, two sisters: Tina Rutter companion of Ron Smith of Manheim, Paula wife of Donald Kilhefner of Mountville, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Wayne’s funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 2:30 PM. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
