Warren H. Knepp, 77, of Landisville entered into the loving arms of his savior on September 4, 2013 after an illness of twenty six months. Born at home in Decatur Township, Mifflin County on December 22, 1935, he was the son of the late Walter E. and Mildred E. Bowersox Knepp. He was the loving husband of Judy Ann Schreiber Knepp and they celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary in May of this year. Warren graduated from Lewistown Vocational High School. After coming to Lancaster County, he worked for thirty one years as a tool and die maker at RCA Corporation and after the plant closed, he worked two years at Berg Electronic, York County where he retired. Warren was a member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Columbia. An avid hunter, Warren enjoyed traveling to his cabin in Huntingdon County which he and his wife built.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, Steven R. husband of Diane Woomert Knepp of Manheim, a daughter, Kimbra J. wife of Melvin Huber of Mount Joy, stepson, Steven T. Mark of Lititz and a stepdaughter, Kelly L. Garcia of Manheim; four grandchildren, Jere, Jordan, Mackenzie, Jeremy, two great grandchildren, Landis and Hayden and a brother, James Klinger of Lewistown. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janet Hoffman Knepp and two brothers, Robert C. and Leonard A. Knepp.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 3:00 PM. Interment in Lititz Moravian Cemetery. There will be a public viewing at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM and again on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 PM until the time of service. Please omit flowers.
