Vera E. Clark

Vera E. Clark, 91, of Mount Joy, died peacefully, Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Juniper Village, Mount Joy.  She was the widow of Raymond C. “Pete” Clark who died in 2018.  Born in Perryville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Randolph and Marie (Wyre) Jackson.  She enjoyed crocheting, playing pinochle (and gloating when she won), and testing her luck on slot machines.

     Surviving is a daughter, Kathy wife of Jay Bankert, Mount Joy; a granddaughter Jennifer wife of David Ishler, Neffsville; and three great-grandchildren Austin, Sierra, and Holden.  In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a brother James Jackson.

     Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her memorial service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 W. Main Street, Mount Joy on Wednesday February 28, 2024 at 3:30 PM.  There will be a time of visitation with the family from 2:00 PM until the time of the service.  Private interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.  Contributions in Vera’s memory may be sent to Masonic Village Hospice, 98 Masonic, Dr., Suite 101, Elizabethtown PA 17022, or at masonicvillagehospice.org/donate.
