Tyler A. Fichthorn, 22 of Lititz, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2013. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Timothy A. and Terry A. Myers Fichthorn of Lititz. He was a sales associate with CJ’s Tire and Automotive Services, Lititz. Tyler proudly served in the United States Army and was stationed in the Kuwait region of the Persian Gulf. He was a 2009 graduate of Warwick High School, and also the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center. Tyler was an accomplished BMX Bike Rider and won many trophies locally. His interests included: hunting, fishing, automotive adventures, riding his four-wheeler and rooting for his Miami Dolphins football team. He will be missed by his beagle dog, Bailey. Tyler loved doing any activities with his friends and family; he had an infectious, sparkling personality and was kind to everyone he met.
Surviving in addition to his parents, is a daughter, Aleyah Fichthorn of Ephrata, three brothers: Steven husband of Cindy Fichthorn of Baltimore, MD., Jayson Shelley of Manheim, Gregory Shelley of Lititz, two sisters: Julie wife of Adam Dillon of Ephrata, Kelly Fichthorn of Lititz, his girlfriend, Jade Brightbill of Richland, a nephew, Kayden Shelley, maternal grandparents: Jay and Anne Myers of Columbia, paternal grandparents: Robert L. and Phyllis Fichthorn of Manheim.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home 21 Market Square, Manheim on Monday morning, September 2, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Interment is in Penryn Cemetery, Penn Township. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Monday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Contributions may be sent in Tyler’s memory to the Buch Funeral Home 21 Market Square, Manheim, PA 17545 to help defray funeral expenses.
