Honorable Thomas J. Fee, 59, of Manheim, PA died unexpectedly of natural causes on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at the Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center. Born in New Castle, he was the son of Thomas J. Fee Sr. of New Castle and the late Lucretia Fuleno Fee. He was the loving husband of Melinda S. "Mindy" Gates Fee with whom they would have celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary on December 31st of this year. His first wife was the late Marilyn Isaac Fee. Tom was elected Magisterial District Justice in 2008 to a six year term; serving Manheim, Penn and Rapho Township areas. Previously he worked for the Department of Community and Economic Development in Harrisburg. He also worked as the legislative liaison for the PA Department of the Treasury. In his early years Tom was employed by the PA Department of Revenue in Pittsburgh. Tom served as Mayor for Manheim Borough. He was a member of St. Richard Catholic Church in Manheim where he served as an usher, other memberships included: Manheim Lions Club, Manheim Touchdown Club, Prospectors Investment Club and Skullduggers Association. Tom enjoyed fishing and traveling. His passion in life was his family and friends. He was the ultimate host at his home welcoming friends and making everyone feel they were the most important part of his life which they were. Tom was a gregarious, fun loving, person with a huge kind heart which helped him make many friends. His famous Christmas Eve fish fries were legend. Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Danielle M. wife of Nicholas L. DeLong of Manheim, Abigail L. Fee at home, a son, Ryan J. Fee of West Chester, one granddaughter, Isabella Marilyn DeLong, four sisters, Lu Ann wife of Thomas Kelly of New Castle, Kathleen wife of John Baird of Slippery Rock, Patricia wife of Chester Orelli of New Castle, and Terri Lynn wife of Emilio Posa of Pittsburgh, a brother, James Fee companion of, Cheryl Cavanaugh of Hermitage. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial at St. James Catholic Church 505 Woodcrest Ave. Lititz, PA on Monday, September 5, 2011 at 11:00 AM with the Reverend Francis T. Menei officiating. Interment will be in Manheim Fairview Cemetery, Penn Township. There will be a public viewing at the Buch Funeral Home 21 Market Square, Manheim, PA on Sunday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with additional viewing at St. James Catholic Church on Monday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
