Thomas J. Altrath

November 24, 1964 — August 30, 2015

Thomas J. Altrath, 50, of Landisville, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, he is the son of Robert and Denise Altrath of Fredericksburg, PA. Tom was a helper at Alcoa of Lancaster. He attended Millersville Brethren in Christ church. Tom was an avid mountain biker, enjoyed playing the guitar, and listening to and experiencing music. He is also survived by his beloved sister Joanne and nephew Henry Jesiolowski of Palmyra.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 W. Main St. Mount Joy, on Friday September 4, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in Silver Spring Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation with the family on Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. If desired, contributions in Tom’s memory may be sent to the Four Diamonds Fund, c/o University Development Office, P.O. Box 852, Hershey, PA 17033.
