Thelma I. GoGo MacFeat, 82, of Columbia, died peacefully Monday, January 17, 2011 at her home.
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Paul J. and Myrtle Campbell Glick. A homemaker, she was the loving wife of Robert M. MacFeat and they observed their 61st wedding anniversary in December of last year. She was a member of the Landisville Camp Meeting Association. Thelma sang with her sisters as the Glick Sisters in the 1940s. The family would like to thank Hospice of Lancaster County for their unending care, kindness, and compassion during Thelmas illness.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons: Steven L. Sr. husband of Peg MacFeat of Millersville, Scott L. Sr. husband of Sharon MacFeat of South Carolina, a daughter, Dawn wife of William Sholly Sr. of Columbia, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Preceding her in death are three sisters: Helen Oatman, Catherine Collins, Olive Wetherbee.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Interment is in Hernley Mennonite Cemetery, Rapho Township. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
