Terry L. Parks, 49, of Manheim, died peacefully on Sunday, May 30, 2010 of Multiple Myeloma. Terry courageously battled this disease with a strong faith in God, and a positive attitude and loving support from family, friends, and the Hershey Cancer Institute staff. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Samuel E. Parks Sr. of Columbia, and the late Geraldine Kipp Parks. Terry was employed in various maintenance positions throughout his life, most recently he was employed by the Manheim Township Public Works Department. Sports and the outdoors was his passion throughout his life. He enjoyed the Phillies, Flyers, Eagles, Penn State, sprint car racing and the outdoors, especially hiking and bird watching at Middle Creek Wildlife Area. He loved spending time with his dogs and going to the family cabin in Perry County.
Surviving in addition to his father, is a brother, Samuel E. Jr. husband of Paige Gibble Parks of Manheim, and extended family of cousins, aunts and uncles.
Terrys life will be celebrated by a private family service. Please omit flowers.
