Sylvia A. Eitnier

Sylvia A. Eitnier, 80, of Lititz, died peacefully on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Lititz, she was the daughter of the late John S. and Naomi I. McQuay Krumbine. In her early years Sylvia worked as an LPN for Lancaster General Hospital. Sylvia was formerly married to the late Robert “Chick” Eitnier who died in September of 1977. She attended LCBC. She enjoyed counted cross stitch. Sylvia cherished her time she spent with her children, grandchildren, and especially her great granddaughters.

Surviving is a daughter, Shelby Jean Mather of Lititz, a son, Robert Eugene Eitnier of Lititz, two grandchildren: Keith Lane Mather, Keri Jo wife of Joseph McHugh, and three great granddaughters: Karly Alexis, Alyssa Layne, and Mackenzie Rose.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Sylvia’s memorial service at the Buch Funeral Home, 216 South Broad Street, Lititz, on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 7:00 PM. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM until the time of the service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in Graybill’s Brethren Cemetery.
