F. Stanley Kready, 90, of Myerstown, PA., and formerly of Manheim, PA and Saint Petersburg, FL., died Thursday, July 7, 2011 at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center following a brief illness. Born in Elstonville, he was the son of the late Reverend Francis S. and Mabel Kupp Kready. Stanley worked as a printer for God's News in Saint Petersburg, Florida; previously he was employed in printing for the former Stiegel Printing Company, Manheim and Science Press in Ephrata. Earlier in his life he worked for Hershey Machine Shop Manheim and on the family farm in Rapho Township. He was the loving husband of Miriam Nauman Kready and they observed their 71st Wedding Anniversary on July 1st. Stanley attended God's Missionary Church in Lebanon. Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Shirley wife of John Habecker of Lebanon, two sons: Carl husband of Flora Melton Kready of Orlando, FL., Stanley Jr. husband of Elise Pyles Kready of Manheim, ten grandchildren, thirty-two great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, two brothers: A. Claude husband of Martha Kready and M. Eugene husband of Lois Kready all of Manheim, and a sister, Ruth wife of the Reverend Leon Eberly of Clay. Preceding him in death is a brother, Paul Kready. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home 21 Market Square, Manheim, PA on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 10:30 AM. Interment is in Ruhl's United Methodist Cemetery, Rapho Township. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with additional viewing on Monday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.
