Shirley A. Esbenshade

       Shirley A.  Esbenshade, of Manheim, passed into the presence of the Lord on December 9, 2023, after a yearlong fight with cancer. Born in Drumore Township, she was the daughter of the late Elmer E. and Elva Graybill Probst. Shirley was the wife of Wilmer D. Esbenshade with whom she celebrated her 67^th wedding anniversary in March of last year. They were farmers, Wilmer and Shirley raised chickens for over 37 years. They were active members of Calvary Church, Lancaster.

       Surviving in addition to her husband are three siblings, John husband of Linda Probst of Peach Bottom, Kenneth Probst of Lancaster, Jacqueline wife of David Miller of Drumore and honorary grandson, Alex Eby of Manheim. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Janet Hohenwater, Esther Morris, Elsie McComsey and four brothers, Eugene, Francis, Roy and Donald Probst.
