Sherrie A. Miller, 47, of Wrightsville, formerly of Lancaster passed away at home on Monday, November 14, 2011 following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Ralph Sr. husband of Angela McCauley of York and the late Clara Lewis Parmer. She was the wife of Mark D. Miller and they celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary in February. Sherrie worked for National Bearings Company, Lancaster. She was a member of Manheim Brethren In Christ Church. Her interests included crafts, knitting and she loved to spend time with her family. Surviving in addition to her husband and father are four children, Amanda C. wife of Jay Nolt of Columbia, James R. Eckman Jr. of Wrightsville, Justin C. husband of Amber Eckman of Elizabethtown, Levi M. Eckman at home, one granddaughter, Brooke Hummel and two step grandchildren Vivian and Brayden Nolt, a brother, Ralph McCauley Jr. of York, two sisters, Michele wife of Joe Goodhart of Manheim and Tina wife of Arthur Bacon of Middletown, two step-sisters, Carrie and Kim Bixler of York. She was preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Parmer Jr. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at Manheim Brethren In Christ Church, 54 North Penryn Road, Manheim on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Lou Astuto officiating. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will be a public viewing at the church on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Please omit flowers. Those desiring may send contributions in Sherrie's memory to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603.
