Sean Harper, 54, of Mountville, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday, December 28, 2020. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Helen Ruth Tracy Harper of Mountville, and the late Herbert Hayward Harper. Sean was the loving husband of Lynne R. Mellinger Harper and they observed their 7th wedding anniversary in May of this year. Sean retired in August 2020 after working as a flight attendant for South West Airlines for 19 years. He was a member of Refton Brethren in Christ Church. Sean was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed watching NASCAR racing events. In his early years, he took flying lessons and volunteered as a firefighter. Sean enjoyed every aspect of martial arts and riding his motorcycle. He loved to bake and cook. His specialties were desserts and soups. Sean was an active advocate for the “Gift of Life Program” and volunteered to help educate people of the incredible ways you can help others with a selfless act of kindness. He had a deep passion and love for his family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Lynne, and his mother, Helen Ruth; are two daughters: Liz Forrester and Hope Harper both of Mountville, two brothers: Allen, husband of Tami Harper, of White Marsh, MD, Tracy, husband of Darlene Harper, of Joppa, MD, and a sister, Charity Harper of Aberdeen, MD.
Services for Sean will be announced at a later date.
