Sandra M. "Sandy" Herzog

 It is with great sadness the family of Sandra “Sandy” M. Herzog, 77, of Manheim announce her passing on Tuesday, July 22, 2024 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Bradford, PA she was the daughter of the late William Harrison Lawson and Clarabelle Lawson (Abrams). She is survived by her husband William “Bill” T. Herzog. Sandy and Bill recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in June. 

 Sandy graduated from Bradford Area High School and then proceeded to attend Bradford Hospital Nursing School where she earned her LPN certification. After schooling she proceeded to attend to the residents of Bradford Nursing Pavilion before she and Bill moved to Pittsburgh. Sandy and Bill finally settled in the Lancaster County area where she worked for Kids R Us and Michaels in Lancaster before retiring 12 years ago. During her retirement she enjoyed paper crafting, reading, visiting the beach and spending time with her family.

 In addition to her husband, Sandy is survived by daughter Amy Rieg (Picone), wife of Richard K. Rieg Jr, son Gregory Herzog, two grandsons, Logan and Luke Rieg and sister, Jean L. Lawson. She was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Shaffer.

 Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family.
