Sandra Lee Schweinsberg

Sandra Lee “Sandy” Schweinsberg, 63, of Mount Joy, PA, died peacefully Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Greensburg, she was the daughter of the late S. Lee and Alice M. (Downing) Schweinsberg. She was a graduate of Clarion University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She was a retail manager for the G.C. Murphy Co., Ames Dept. Store, and most recently with the Turkey Hill Corp. Sandy was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Mount Joy, and was a former member of the Mount Joy Chamber of Commerce. Her hobbies included music, reading, and crafts.

Surviving are two sisters, Jennifer L. Schweinsberg of Mount Joy, Mary Alice (James) Zummo of Jeannette, PA; a brother Gregory A. (Debra) Schweinsberg of Lancaster; and three nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral services at the James E. Lindsay Funeral Home, 3343 Rt. 130, Harrison City, PA on Monday June 17, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Private interment will be in Brush Creek Cemetery. There will be a public viewing on Sunday at the Lindsay Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and again on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
