Ruth G. Weidman, 90, of Manheim passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Pleasant View Retirement Community, Manheim. Born in Conewago Township, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Barbara Newcomer Brubaker. She was the wife of the late Ray H. Weidman who died in 1999. Ruth retired after forty-two years as a group leader at the former Warner-Lambert Company, Lititz. She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Manheim. Her interests included traveling, picture puzzles and playing bingo. Ruth loved to spend time with her family, especially her granddaughter.
Surviving is a daughter, Barbara A. wife of Eric Lundgren, a granddaughter, Erika Lundgren both of Charleston, South Carolina, four sisters, Lois wife of Titus Boll of Lititz, Laura Brubaker, Doris wife of Roy Horst and Arlene Martin all of Landis Homes. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Robert Brubaker and a brother-in-law, Lloyd Martin.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at Pleasant View Retirement Community, Hoffer Auditorium, 544 North Penryn Road, Manheim on Friday, April 25, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Ruhl’s United Methodist Cemetery, Rapho Township. Friends may visit with the family at Hoffer Auditorium on Friday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
