Ruby S. Parido

Ruby S. Parido, 88, of Akron, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 10, 2018 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Lexington, KY, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Stewart Spigle. She was the loving wife of the late Edgar F. Parido Sr. who died in 2002. A homemaker, Ruby’s interests included sewing, crocheting, playing cards, puzzles and she enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Eagles and Flyers. Ruby also enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving are two children, Edgar F. Jr. husband of Marsha Johnson Parido of Palm Harbor, FL and Pamela K. wife of Mark Hicks of York, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and a brother, Stanley husband of Lelia Spigle of Ogdon, UT.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 5:00 PM. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 4:00 PM until the time of service. Interment will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville on Friday morning at 10:00 AM.
