Rosalie “Rose” Brenner, 78, of Lancaster, formerly of York passed away at home on Sunday, December 18, 2016. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Ira and Alverta Redcay Dissinger. She owned and operated “Rosalie's Helping Hands Healthcare” in North York which she retired from in 2005. She was a gifted and successful massage therapist with the touch of an angel. In her earlier years, she worked for the York Daily Record. Rose graduated in 1956 from the former Warwick Township High School, Rothsville and graduated from the Lancaster School of Massage in 1994. An avid reader, Rose enjoyed tennis, horse racing and especially the Philadelphia Flyers.
Surviving is a son William L. Brenner, husband of Melissa Hartung of Lancaster, three grandchildren, Raevynn Brenner of Lancaster, Shane Estes of York, Channa Weimer of Alabama and a sister, Dian Hughes of York. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys Brosey and Arleen Schlicher.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her memorial service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Friday December 23, 2016, at 11:30 AM. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00AM until the time of service. Interment in Brunnerville United Methodist Cemetery, Warwick Township.
