Ronald R. “Ron” Bauman, 67, of Lancaster, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Sunday September 10, 2017 at Moravian Manor, Lititz. He was the loving husband of Joan (Landis) Bauman and they celebrated 47 years of marriage last December. Born in Sellersville he was the son of the late Harold S. and Mary (Overpeck) Bauman. Ron was a credit manager for the former Martin Limestone of Blue Ball for 13 years before retiring in 2010. Previously Ron had worked for RK Agriservice of Lancaster, and he was also an arbitrator for the Better Business Bureau. He was a graduate of Souderton Area High School class of 1968, and Goldey Beacom College, Wilmington, DE. Ron attended LCBC Manheim. He enjoyed reading, cross stitch, and hunting. Ron was very proud of his children and grandchildren, and enjoyed sharing meals and holidays together. In spite of his chronic illness, he didn’t complain and always showed appreciation to his caregivers.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters Rhonda wife of Jonathan Schuck, Malvern, Rebecca wife of Angel Cintron, Lancaster; two sons Randy husband of Janice (Myers) Bauman, Manheim, Ryan husband of Tammi (Weaver) Bauman, Lancaster; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; five step-great grandchildren; two sisters Diane Bowers, Lewisburg, Lori wife of Evan Burkholder, Fayetteville; and a brother Donald R. Bauman, Pittsboro NC.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Celebration of Life Service at LCBC- Manheim, (west wing auditorium) , 2392 Mount Joy Road, Manheim PA 17545 on Thursday September 14, 2017 at 12 noon. There will be a public viewing at LCBC from 10:00 AM until the time of the service, please use South Auditorium entrance. Interment will be in Manheim Fairview Cemetery.
