Ronald E. Miller

Ronald E. Miller, 66, of Manheim, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 27, 2014 at the Hershey Medical Center. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late James R. and Mary E. Binkley Miller. Ron was a truck driver for White Oak Mills and also worked in the ground maintenance department for the Elizabethtown Area School District. He was the husband of the late Carol Ann Miller who died in June 2004. Ron was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, and the Mount Joy Sportsman Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle.

Surviving is a companion, Heather Peterman of Manheim, a daughter, Jill D. Townsend of Running Springs, California, and her children: Christian, Paige, Grace, Tara, Noah, a brother, James R. husband of Karen Miller of Manheim, two sisters: Betty J. Delmotte of Manheim, Suzanne E. wife of David Haines of Knoxville, TN, two stepsons: Mark husband of Sherry Yoder of Mount Joy and Steve husband of Melissa Yoder of Lancaster, and four step grandchildren: Samantha, Andrew, Matthew, and Rebecca.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Ron’s memorial service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Please omit flowers.
