Ronald A. Straw

Ronald A. Straw, 79, of the Masonic Village of Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at the Masonic Health Care Center, Elizabethtown. Born in Harrisburg he was the son of the late Maude (Bateman) Straw. He was a graduate of William Penn High School, class of 1954, and he received his BA in accounting from Shippensburg University. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Ron was a 32nd degree mason and served as Past Master of Snyder Lodge F & AM 756 of Harrisburg and was also a member of Harrisburg Consistory, Zembo Shrine, and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon.

Surviving are two daughters Denise wife of Joel Schott, Dawn wife of Kenny Yanich, both of Harrisburg; a son Dennis husband of Lisa Goldman of Houtzdale; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and a brother Donald Straw of Harrisburg.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at the John S. Sell Memorial Chapel, on the grounds at Masonic Village Elizabethtown on Tuesday April 26, 2016 at 12 noon. There will be a time of visitation with the family on Tuesday from 11:00 until the time of the service. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
