Robert L. Leister

Robert L. Leister, 78, of Lititz, died peacefully on Saturday January 6, 2018. Born in Juniata County, he was the son of the late Roy and Mary Hart Leister. Robert was a member of Salem Lutheran Church of Kissel Hill; and the Lancaster County Corvette Club. For 42 years Robert worked for Sensenich Propeller Company, Lititz. He was an avid Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Flyers fan and was a season ticket holder to the Hershey Bears. Robert enjoyed attending yard sales and collected Winross and Hess trucks.


Surviving are three daughters: Beth Forney, Michelle Leister, (Chris) and Rebecca Wilhelm, two grandchildren: LeeAnn and Chayse Forney, a brother, Harold Leister, two sisters: Ruth Burkholder and Linda Hoover (Dave) and nieces and nephews. He will be lovingly missed by his companion, Patricia Mummaw. Preceding him in death is a son, Brian Leister, two brothers: Roy Leister Jr., Raymond Leister, and a sister, Naomi Martin.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Robert’s funeral service at Salem Lutheran Church of Kissel Hill, 26 Owl Hill Road Lititz, on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will be in Salem Lutheran Church of Kissel Hill Cemetery.
