Robert H. “Bob” Zima, 90, of Masonic Village at Elizabethtown, died Sunday February 3, 2013 at the Masonic Health Care Center. “Bob” as he was affectionately known was the husband of Anna L. (Wolford) Zima and they celebrated 23 years of marriage in March of 1989. He was also the husband of the late Corinna Grogg Zima who died in 1988. Born in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Robert and Hazel (Grimm) Zima. Bob had worked in the sales department for WGAL in Lancaster for 27 years before retiring in in 1979. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WW II. Bob was a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College, class of 1952, and later elected in to the Franklin & Marshall College Hall of Fame. Bob was dedicated to the causes of and was a member of the F&AM Lodge # 43 of Lancaster, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, and the Zembo Temple. Bob along with his wife were member of the John S. Sell Memorial Chapel at Masonic Village in Elizabethtown.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, Douglas husband of Tina Zima of Lancaster, Todd husband of Carmine Zima of Lancaster, Robert H. Jr. of Houston TX; a daughter Diane M. Zima of Williamsport; two step-sons Donald Grogg of York Haven, Michael husband of Emma Salemi of Davenport FL; two step-daughters Donna Wright of Indiana, Rosalie wife of Robert Hezlitt of Londonderry, NY; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his memorial service at the John S. Sell Memorial Chapel, 1 Masonic Dr. Elizabethtown, PA on Saturday February, 9, 2013 with Masonic Services beginning at 11:00 A.M. Inurnment with military honors will be in the John S.
