Robert G. "Bob" Fawcett

    Robert G. “Bob” Fawcett, 67, of Mount Joy, and formerly of Manheim, died peacefully on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Hospice and Community Care. Born in Pontiac, Michigan, he was the son of the late Frederick Fawcett and Loraine Dietrich Fawcett Trebert. Bob was the loving husband of Jean R. Delesio Fawcett and they would have observed their 46^th wedding anniversary in December of this year. For 35 years, Bob worked as a Quality Analyst for the former R.R. Donnelly and Sons, now known as LSC Communications, Lancaster. He was a graduate of Lancaster Bible College with majors in Pastoral Ministries and Bible Studies. Bob attended LCBC Manheim Campus; and taught Sunday school in his younger years in numerous churches in Lancaster County. He was quiet, thoughtful, and lived his faith each day by example. Bob had a deep passion for tennis throughout his life. Both playing and watching professional tennis brought him joy. He loved being with friends and family. He cherished the times he could spend with his beloved wife, children, and grandchildren. Bob’s precious Cavapoo, Kobe, stayed by his side throughout his illness and will miss his daily walks.

  Surviving in addition to his wife, Jean, is a son Brian D. husband of Christina Fawcett of West Chester, two daughters: Katherine J. “Katy” wife of Daniel Jones of Windsor, CO, Erin M. wife of Josh Birk of Columbia, ten grandchildren: Olivia, Hannah, Gavin, Peyton, Griffen, Harper, Grace, Luke, Jonah, and Colin, a brother, Lee husband of Jackie Fawcett of Littleton, CO, and a sister, Barbara Fawcett of Bristol, CT. Preceding him in death is a daughter-in-law, Allison Fawcett.
