Robert B. "Bob" Thompson IV

Robert B. “Bob” Thompson IV, 59, of Manheim, died on Monday, November 17, 2014 at the Lancaster General Hospital. He was the companion of Doreen Werner. Bob worked as an Emergency Medical Technician for many years for the Lancaster EMS “LEMSA” working up until his recent illness. He was respected by his co-workers and was faithful in serving his community.

Surviving in addition to his companion, are three sons: Robert B. Thompson V of Reading, Richard J. husband to Jennifer Thompson of Lititz, Kyle M. Thompson of Coudersport, five grandchildren, and four siblings: Jim, Fredie, Linda, and Sherry. Bob will be lovingly missed by Hailey, Nicole, and Julie Werner.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Bob’s funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 3:00 PM. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon from 2:00 PM until the time of the service. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
