Richard N. "Dick" Keller, 96, of Manheim passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus surrounded by his family on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Pleasant View Communities, Manheim. Born in Manheim, he was the son of the late John E. and Helen Rambler Keller. He was the loving husband of the late Sylvia Eyman Keller who died in 2019. Dick attended Manheim High School and proudly served in the United States Navy. Upon his discharge from the Navy, Dick worked as an Electrical Foreman for the former Raymark Industries where he was a source of electrical expertise for other foreman and engineers. After retirement he worked part-time for Playskool, Inc. and Schell Industries. He had a natural gift for understanding all things electrical and mechanical, and as Dick would say, could fix anything but a broken heart. Dick enjoyed hunting, woodworking, and carving, specially making decoys. Later in life, after losing his dear wife, he also enjoyed cooking, baking and sharing his treats with his neighbors at Pleasant View. He left an example of hard work, integrity and loyalty for his family.
Surviving is a son, Michael R. husband of Lorrita Keller of Manheim, three daughters, Debra Kurtz of Ephrata, Cathy wife of Glen Heisey of Mount Joy and Beth wife of Andy Greiner of Lititz; nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren., He was preceded in death by four siblings, Robert & William Keller, Joyce Eckman and Nancy Kissinger.
Funeral Services are private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions in Dick’s memory to Pleasant View Communities, Benevolent Care Endowment Fund, 544 North Penryn Road, Manheim PA, 17545.
