Rev. Robert Louis "Bob" Unverzagt

Rev. Robert Louis “Bob” Unverzagt, 78, of Mount Joy, went to be with his Lord & Savior, Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy. He was the loving husband of Joanne (Fairbank) Unverzagt, and they celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary this past June. Born in Baltimore MD, he was the son of the late Albert J. and Elsie (Goldschmidt) Unverzagt. Rev. Bob received his Master of Divinity Degree from Princeton Theological Seminary, and he served as a minister with 6 Presbyterian Churches over 35 years. He attended Derry Presbyterian Church, Hershey. He also recently authored a book on marriage “A Dozen Roses from God”.

Surviving in addition to his wife Joanne are four grandchildren Charis Anne, Sydney Joy, Arwen Rose and William Ransom White; and a son in-law David Michael husband of Jennifer White, Dresser PA; also survived by brother in-law James G. Fairbank, and a sister in-law Margaret Louise Clarke. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Sandra Jo, and a sister Jean White.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Rev. Bob’s Celebration of Life Service at Derry Presbyterian Church, 248 East Derry Road, Hershey on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 11:00 AM.
