Rebecca E. "Becky" Miller

Rebecca E. ”Becky” Batdorf Miller, 80, of Lititz, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at the Lancaster General Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Mount Aetna, Berks County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Lillian Donough Batdorf. She was married to Melvin A. Miller for 45 years before his passing in 1999. Becky worked for W.W. Moyer/Gerber Childrenswear for over 26 years. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, word puzzles, collecting Teddy Bears, and especially spending time with her family.

Surviving are four sons: Robert husband of Mary Kay Batdorf of Willow Street, Richard husband of Kathy Miller of Lititz, James Miller of Lititz, Donald Miller companion of Alma Eckert of Bensalem, a daughter, Linda wife of John Hanna of Manheim, eight grandchildren: Jeremy Miller, Corinne Bowman, Alison Fisher, Sarah Ellis, Jessica Miller, Andrea Miller, Matthew Miller, and Jeremy Hanna. Additionally she spoiled her four great grandchildren: Makayla, Hannah, Gabriel, and Ayla. She was looking forward to Baby Ellis who is due in May of 2014. Becky is also survived by two sisters: Helen Kresge companion of Glenn Sholly, Ann McKnight companion of Gary Pike, a brother, George Batdorf, and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death is a daughter, Jean Miller, a grandson, Shaun Hanna, and her brother, Robert Batdorf.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, East Cocalico Township.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Disabled American Veterans PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
