Reba M. Martin, 91, of Lititz, and formerly of Manheim, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Landis Homes. Born in Strasburg, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Florence Lefever Dagen. Reba was the loving wife of the late Carl D. Martin who died in June of last year. They were happily married for 69 years. In her early years Reba helped her husband on the family farm in Penn Township; later she was employed by Richard M. Heagy Foods, several Deli’s, and at Darrenkamps Market in Mount Joy. For over 70 years Reba was an active and faithful member of Hernley Mennonite Church, Manheim, where she helped with Sunday school and Bible school. She also volunteered at the Columbia Re-Uzit MCC Thrift Shop, and Landis Homes. Reba was a kind, caring, and loving person with a life-long passion for her family. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Surviving are three sons: Larry E. husband of Ruth Ann Hess Martin of Manheim, Leon L. husband of Diana Reichenbach Martin of Manheim, Marlin J. husband of Doris E. Kready Martin of Elizabethtown, six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and two brothers: Jacob L. husband of Mabel Dagen of Lititz, and Lester L. husband of Evelyn Dagen of Willow Street. Preceding her in death is a brother, Paul L. Dagen and a sister-in-law, Lois Dagen.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Reba’s memorial service at the Landis Homes Retirement Community, WEST BETHANY CHAPEL, 1001 East Oregon Road, Lititz, on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Friday evening from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM with additional visitation on Saturday morning at Landis Homes Retirement Community from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be private in Hernley Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent in Reba’s memory to Landis Homes Caring Fund, 1001 East Oregon Road, Lititz, PA 17543, or Hernley Mennonite Church, 746 Lebanon Road, Manheim, PA 17545.
