Ray Willis Rineer, 82, of Manheim, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at the Hershey Medical Center. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Willis Ray Sr. and Mary Morrow Rineer. He was the husband of the late Nancy M. Kimm Rineer who died in 2007. Retired in 1996, Willis worked for over forty years at the National Bearings Co., Lancaster. Following retirement, he worked at Weis Markets, Manheim for fifteen years. Willis proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Elstonville Sportsmen Association, Manheim. His interests included traveling to the mountains and word search puzzles.
Surviving is his companion, Barbara L. Miller of Manheim, six children, Deborah wife of Gary Herneisen, Raymond Rineer, Duane husband of Christine Rineer, Wendy wife of Michael May all of Manheim, Tammy wife of Rick Bransby of Columbia and Wesley husband of Jennifer Rineer of Manheim, ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Huyard, Florence Clor, Kathrin Leonard and four brothers, Elvin, Christian, George and Daniel Leonard.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 11:00 AM. There will be a public viewing from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will be private.
