Randall Justin Weaver, 60, of Lancaster died on August 11, 2017 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. He was the son of Velma Young Weaver Koser of Lancaster and the late C. William Weaver. Randy was a 1975 graduate of Manheim Central High School, during which time he was also an exchange student in Germany. He was teen of the week in Lancaster Newspaper and Scholastic Art Gold Key Finalist. Randy was employed by R.R. Donnelley, The Home Depot, U.S. Postal Service and most recently the Lancaster Marriott and Convention Center. Randy was a member of Mount Hope Episcopal Church. He most recently attended Otterbein U.M. Church, Lancaster. Randy was a master gardener. His home garden was featured in 1996 Lancaster County magazine and on the 1999 Demuth Garden Tour. He enjoyed architecture and traveled throughout Scandinavia, Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Randy was a kind and caring person and was well liked by all who knew him.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his brother, Steven Weaver, El Paso, TX and special cousins.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Randy’s funeral service at Otterbein United Methodist Church, 20 East Clay Street, Lancaster on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will take place at East Fairview Brethren Cemetery, Rapho Township on Wednesday at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions in Randy’s memory to Hospice & Community Care, 4075 Old Harrisburg Pike, Mount Joy, PA 17552.
