Ramona L. Penrod

Ramona L. “Becky” Penrod, 79, of Lititz, died peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, March 9, 2016. Formerly of 145 South Broad Street, Lititz, she was born in Manheim and was the daughter of the late Harvey and Sadie Engle Beck. She is the wife of Carl H. Penrod and in July they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

She was a nurse's aide for 28 years at Luther Acres prior to her retirement in 1999.

A dedicated and caring wife, mother, and grandmother, Becky found enjoyment in spending time with her family. She was the center of the family, the one around whom everything else revolved. She was an avid flower gardener and liked to crochet.

Surviving in addition to her husband, Carl, she will be lovingly missed by her son, Edward Ober, Manheim; daughters, Brenda, wife of Michael Mikolajczyk, Boothwyn, Lisa, wife of James Koelsch, Lititz; nine grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Preceding her in death is a daughter, Beverly Ober, one brother and three sisters.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a viewing and visit with Becky’s family at the Buch-Heisey Funeral Home, 216 S. Broad St., Lititz, on Sunday, March 13, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held privately at the Mount Hope Cemetery in South Fork.
