Ralph J. Heinrich, 82, formerly of Phila., died Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Pleasant View Retirement Community, Manheim. Born in Chicago, IL. He was the son of the late Arthur L. and Augusta Hoffmann Heinrich and husband of the late Wilma Brehm Heinrich. Ralph worked 34 years for the U.S. Govt Dept. of Human Services. A member of St. Richard Catholic Church, Manheim, he was also involved with the Knights of Columbus Council #14524. Ralph was a 1955 graduate of Villanova University and a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War. He is survived by two daughters, Susan Heinrich (Leslie Kahn) of AZ, Lisa (James) Andrews of Easton, brother, Richard (Margaret) Heinrich of IN, sister, Marion Hilgers of IL, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur Jr. and Lawrence Heinrich. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Richard Catholic Church, 110 North Oak Street, Manheim on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 10:30 AM. Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers please send contributions in Ralph's memory to St. Richard Knights of Columbus Council #14524, 110 North Oak Street, Manheim, PA 17545.
