Perry E. Rohrer

Perry E. Rohrer, 52, of Manheim died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Magruder Hospital, Ohio. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Erma Sensenig Rohrer Mast of Leola and the late Harold Rohrer. He was the loving husband of Teresa Mae Hornberger Rohrer and they celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary in September of last year. One of the greatest highlights of Perry's life was working as a standup comedian in the Philadelphia, Reading, and Harrisburg areas. He was a guitar technician in the Country Music Industry working with country music stars Kathy Mattea and Steve Wariner. He was a song writer, an accomplished guitarist, and enjoyed pinball. Perry worked in the shipping/receiving department at Maple Logistics Solutions, Mount Joy. Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are two sons, Dustin D. Rohrer of Somerset, Brandon J. Rohrer at home, a daughter, Chelsea R. wife of Robert Barber of Elizabethtown, two grandsons, Kegan S. Rohrer and Riley J. Young, two brothers, Randy R. Rohrer of Lancaster, Don R. husband of Rebecca Rohrer of Elkhart, Indiana and a sister, Donna J. wife of Lloyd Mast of Leola. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 6:00 PM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will be a public viewing at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5:00 PM until the time of service.
