Pauline K. Dohner, 91, of Manheim passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 14, 2015. Born in Milton Grove, she was the daughter of the late John S. and Mary Dupler Kauffman. She was the wife of the late Albert L. Dohner who died in 2006. Pauline was an active and faithful member of Ruhl’s United Methodist Church, Manheim where she was a Sunday school teacher and sang in the church choir. She was also a member of the Lititz Springs Chapter 499 Order of Eastern Star, Lancaster Chapter 70 of Amaranth and the former 4-H Club in Mastersonville. Pauline enjoyed puzzles and canning. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving are three daughters, Pamela K. Dohner of Michigan, Paulette R. wife of David A. Bechtold and Priscilla F. wife of Richard H. Roeting both of Manheim, five grandchildren, Joshua Bechtold of Arizona, Matthew Roeting of Manheim, Jennifer Wiegand of Carlisle, Chelsea Bossory of Florida, Daniel Roeting of Manheim, seven great grandchildren, Kiersten and Emily Roeting, Isabel and Anna Bossory, Taylor and Flynn Wiegand, Jay Bechtold, four brothers and six sisters. She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at Ruhl’s United Methodist Church, 4810 Elizabethtown Road, Manheim on Friday, April 17, 2015 at 2:00 PM. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. There will be a public viewing at the church on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM and again at the church on Friday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Please omit flowers.
