Pauline M. Garber, 88, of Lititz, died peacefully on Monday, January 29, 2024 at Landis Homes Retirement Community. Born in New Holland, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Horst. Pauline was the loving wife of Paul E. Garber and they observed their 67th wedding anniversary in December. For many years Pauline worked alongside her husband on the family farm. She was a member of the former Chestnut Hill Mennonite Church, Columbia. Her interests included needle work, vegetable gardening and puzzles. Pauline had a life-long passion for her family and she cherished the time she could spend with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to her husband Paul are four daughters: Grace wife of Daryl Heagy of East Petersburg, Jane wife of Philip Roth of Blooming Glen, Linda wife of Ron Kauffman of Dallastown, Mary Lou Garber of East Petersburg, four grandchildren, a sister, Mary wife of Charles Sauder of Ephrata, and a brother, Lloyd husband of Barbara Ann Horst of Akron. Preceding her in death is a sister, Anna May Weaver.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Pauline’s memorial service in the West Bethany Chapel at Landis Homes Retirement Community, 1001 East Oregon Road, Lititz, on Monday, February 5, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family in the chapel on Monday morning beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be private in East Petersburg Mennonite Cemetery.
