Paul R. Stark

Paul R. Stark, 80, of Columbia Avenue Mount Joy passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, February 22, 2010. Born in Mount Joy, he was the son of the late Paul and Mary Fogie Stark. He was the husband of the late Mabel Mumma Stark who died in 1997. Retired in 1997, Paul was a printer for the former Autokraft, Mount Joy. He was a member of Chiques United Methodist Church, Mount Joy and the Mount Joy VFW Post 5752. Paul served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons, Steven husband of Patricia Stark of Elizabethtown, Scott Stark of Mount Joy and a daughter, Stacey L. wife of Steven Shireman of Marietta; four grandchildren, Ryan, Tyler, Kyle and Kirsten; three brothers, Carl, Harold and Elwood Stark. He was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Stark and a sister, Elsie Sparkman.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Memorial Service at Chiques United Methodist Church 1215 East Main Street Mount Joy on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 2:00 PM. Interment in Henry Eberle Cemetery, Mount Joy will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends may visit with the family at the church immediately following the service.
