Paul H. Livengood, 90, of Manheim, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Pleasant View Retirement Community, Manheim. Born in West Lampeter Township, he was the son of the late Phares W. and Reba Hess Livengood. He was the loving husband of Elva Weaver Livengood and they celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary in February. Paul was a lifetime dairy farmer. Following retirement, he worked at G&G Feeds, Manheim. He was a member of Manheim Mennonite Church. His interests included, sales, auctions, antique tractors and he loved to spend time with his family.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Jay P. husband of Lana Myers Livengood of Manheim, Lester E. husband of Karen Landis Livengood of Lititz, and a daughter, Nancy “Nan” wife of Jay Schock of Mount Joy, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two sisters, Mildred H. and Martha H. Livengood both of Lititz and two brothers, David H. husband of Mary Livengood of Willow Street and Earl H. husband of Joyce Livengood of Lancaster. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ira H. Livengood and sister, Rhoda Livengood.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service at Pleasant View Retirement Community, Hoffer Auditorium, 544 North Penryn Road, Manheim on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 11:00 AM. There will be a public viewing from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment in Hernley Mennonite Cemetery, Rapho Township.
