Paul H. Keller, 73, of Manheim, went home to be with the Lord following a brief illness on Monday, July 8, 2013 at the Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Penn Township, he was the son of the late A. Rohrer and Emma Hershey Keller. Paul was the loving husband of the late Jean L. Heaston Keller who died in June of last year. He assisted in Brethren Volunteer Service. An Insurance agent and broker; Paul was the owner and operator of the former Paul Keller Insurance Company, Lancaster. He also worked for other insurance agencies in the Lancaster County area. A truck driver in his early years, Paul also operated the family farm in Penn Township. Following retirement he was a school bus driver for Joseph Graybill Inc. Manheim, until his recent illness. Paul was an active and faithful member of Grace Church of Lititz, where he served as a deacon, Sunday school class leader for the Navigators, and usher. He loved travelling the western part of the country. Paul had a lifelong passion for his family, and he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters: Charlene wife of Jeff Mummau of Manheim, Brenda Keller of Arlington, VA., two grandchildren: Morgan Mummau, Drew Mummau, one brother, Harold husband of Lois Keller of Manheim, three sisters: Lorraine wife of Lester Beachy of Des Moines, IA., Leah wife of Carl Brubaker of Lebanon, and Jean wife of Raymond Meck of Leola. Preceding him in death are two brothers: J. Richard and J. Hershey Keller.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his memorial service at Grace Church of Lititz, 501 West Lincoln Avenue, Lititz, on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 6:00 PM. Interment will be private in Midway Church of the Brethren Cemetery, South Lebanon Township. Friends may visit with the family following the memorial service at Grace Church on Saturday evening.
