Paul G. Reichenbach, 90, of Manheim passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Paul and Mae Gruber Reichenbach. He was the loving husband of Laura Witman Reichenbach and they celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary in June of last year. Paul retired as a heavy equipment operator at Binkley & Ober Quarry, East Petersburg. A veteran of WWII, he served in the 5th Air Force in the South Pacific from New Guinea to Japan. Paul was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manheim. He was also a member of the Manheim VFW Post 5956, Manheim American Legion Post 419 and a former member of Manheim Sertoma. Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, Edward P. husband of Dawn Reichenbach of Manheim, a daughter, Bonnie G. wife of Fred Herr of Gainesville, Virginia, five grandchildren, Michael, Beth, Nicholas, Colby and Madison, six great grandchildren and a sister, Helen Good of Elizabethtown. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Witman. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his memorial service at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2 South Hazel Street, Manheim on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at 3:00 PM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in Conewago Church of the Brethren Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 PM until the time of service. Please omit flowers.
