Paul D. Derstler

Paul D. Derstler, 80, formerly of East Hernley Road, Manheim, died peacefully on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the United Zion Retirement Community, Lititz. Born in Manheim, he was the son of the late Howard and Florence Hershey Derstler. Paul was the husband of the late Lois June Greiner Derstler who died in 2003. For over 10 years Paul worked in the maintenance department for the Manheim Central School District. He was of the protestant faith. Paul’s interests included agriculture and raising farm animals.

Surviving are two brothers: David C. husband of Joyce Shaub Derstler, of Lititz, Gordon husband of Lois Hernley Derstler of Lititz, two sisters: Hilda J. Young of Easton, Florence L. Kershner of Lititz, and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are two sisters: Edith H. Vogel, Grace Stoner, and a brother, Howard H. Derstler.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Hernley Mennonite Cemetery, Rapho Township. Please omit flowers. Contributions may be sent in Paul’s memory to: United Zion Retirement Community Caring Fund, 722 Furnace Hills Pike, Lititz, PA 17543.
