Patricia A. Miller, 81, of Manheim, died peacefully on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at the Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Tremont, she was the daughter of the late Reverend Harry M. and Ethel Miller Tobias. For over 20 years Pat worked as a lab technician for Warner Lambert in Lititz. An active and faithful member for more than 63 years at Salem United Methodist Church, Manheim; Pat served as the church organist for over 25 years. Pat studied piano and organ at Wolfe Music Institute, Lancaster; and at Linden Hall, Lititz; and later taught music privately in her home. Pat volunteered for Hospice and Community Care for several years. She was a 1952 graduate of Manheim Central High School. Pat’s interests included: music, cooking, and going out with her friends.
Surviving are three granddaughters: Angela Rubin of Santa Monica, CA, Kayla Bixler and Brandalyn Bixler both of Holtwood, and three great grandchildren. Also surviving is an adopted son and adopted daughter.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Pat’s funeral service at the Salem United Methodist Church, 140 North Penn Street, Manheim, on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 2:00 PM. There will be a viewing at the church on Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Ruhl’s United Methodist Cemetery, Rapho Township.
