Patricia A. Johnson

Patricia A. Johnson, 62, of Lititz, and formerly of Manheim, died peacefully on Monday, June 17, 2013 at Hospice and Community Care, Lancaster. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Pauline H. Miller Kreider of Manheim, and the late J. Richard Kreider. Pat was the loving wife of David L. Johnson and they would have observed their 43rd wedding anniversary in August of this year. A registered nurse, Pat worked for Hospice and Community Care for many years. She was a faithful and active member of Lititz Mennonite Church and served as Worship and Music Leader. Pat also volunteered for the Landis Homes Retirement Community Auxiliary Board. Her interests included: flowers, gardening, quilting, and bird watching.

Surviving in addition to her husband, is a son, Brian D. husband of Heather Johnson of Lititz, two daughters: Amy S. wife of Erik Nelson of Lancaster, Maribeth A. wife of Zach Swarr of Lititz, five grandchildren: Samantha, Noah, Nicholas, Lucas Johnson, and Declan Swarr, two sisters: Sandra wife of Joe Carrick of Conroe, TX., and Debra Kreider of Lititz. Preceding her in death is a brother, Rick Kreider.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her service of remembrance and thanksgiving at the ERB MENNONITE CHURCH, 567 West Lexington Road, Lititz, on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 11:30 AM. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the LITITZ MENNONITE CHURCH, 165 Front Street, Lititz, on Friday evening from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Additional visitation time with the family on Saturday morning at ERB MENNONITE CHURCH from 10:30 AM until the time of the service.
