Norman D. Minnick

 Norman D. Minnick, 84, of Mount Joy, returned to his heavenly home on Monday, November 18, 2024 at Juniper Village. Born in Columbia, PA., he was the son of the late Norman D. and Gladys Splain Minnick. Norman was the loving husband of the late Nancy L. Haldeman Minnick who died in July of 2023 following 29 years of marriage. Norman was a machine operator for Amerimax Home Products Inc., Lancaster. He was a faithful and active member of the East Fairview Church of the Brethren, Manheim. Norman enjoyed bowling and was a member of several Lancaster County bowling leagues. He had a deep love for horses and was a member of the Columbia Riding Club. He, along with his beloved wife Nancy, provided “Horse Rides by Sheba” for many years. 

Surviving are two sons: Scott, husband of Ashley Bulett of Elizabethtown, Joesph, husband of Becky Herneisen of Bainbridge. Norman had eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Norman was one of nine children. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Norman’s Funeral Service at the East Fairview Church of the Brethren, 1187 Fairview Road, Manheim, on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 11:00 AM. There will be a viewing at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Thursday, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM with additional viewing at the church on Friday morning from 10:00 AM till the time of the service. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
